General Information
Principal’s Scholarships are awarded based on sound academic potential, a strong desire to learn and the willingness to fully participate in the co-curricular life of the school. We seek young leaders who are committed to our community and work to better themselves and their peers through active contribution and service.

Woodleigh welcomes applications for entry into Years 5 and 7 in 2026.
Applications
Applications for the Years 5 and 7, 2026 Principal's Scholarships are now open and close on Friday 26 July 2024.
Supporting Documentation
The following documents are required for each scholarship candidate:
- Completed Application for Enrolment (if you haven't applied previously)
- Complete the Application for Scholarship Testing (compulsory)
- Cover letter outlining the student’s qualities and achievements
- Semester 2, 2023 full school report
- Semester 1, 2024 full school report
- Year 5 NAPLAN test results
- Year 3 NAPLAN test results
Woodleigh is seeking a curious student looking to question continuously and searching for knowledge and understanding.
All scholarship applicants are required to sit the Scholarship Examination to be held on Saturday 3 August 2024.
Documents should be addressed to Laura Maasburg, Director of Enrolments, at enrol@woodleigh.vic.edu.au by the closing date of Friday 26 July 2024. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
Inclusions
The Principal's Scholarships cover a percentage of Tuition Fees only and is tenable through to the end of Year 12.
Additional costs such as the Consolidated Charges, camps, uniforms and books are not part of the Tuition Fees and are therefore not covered by the scholarship.
Expectations
Receiving the Principal's Scholarship is a privilege, and students are responsible for being leaders within our community, adhering to our values of Respect for Self, Others and the Environment. Awardees will participate in an annual scholarship review; this meeting will occur between the Principal and Deputy Principal, Head of Campus. It will be structured as a mentoring opportunity for scholarship students as they journey through Woodleigh School. They will reflect on what has been achieved and discuss aspirations for the year ahead.
Scholarship Process

Applications close on: Friday 26 July 2024
Compulsory Scholarship Testing: Saturday 3 August 2024
The first round of interviews will occur in mid-August 2024.
Scholarship offers are strictly confidential and are made at the discretion of the Principal. All applicants will receive communication from the school advising the outcome of their application by the end of September 2024.
